Kate – support with vocal challenges at work

“Thank you for all your support throughout my recent stresses and helping me to get my voice back on track.”

Chris – voice therapy for Parkinson's

The Lee Silverman Voice Treatment for Parkinson’s: “The protocol is intensive, but this is well compensated by the excellence of Rachel in motivating and describing the various manoeuvres. The very early and significant improvement in symptoms is impressive.”

Jenny’s story – voice loss

I wanted to say a personal thank you to you, for all your care and support during my voice loss. I felt really heard and understood by you, not just a symptom. Without your support, listening and gentle encouragement to face the issues underlying the loss I do not think I would have made the courage to address the issues as I did. I really appreciate you and am continually singing your praises!”

Marilyn – supporting those with vocal loss

“I would like to take the opportunity to say how much the voice therapy has helped my husband. Using the vocal exercises, he has learned he is now able to hold a conversation without his voice continually breaking up. He can relax and speak without becoming breathless and unable to finish sentences”.

Testimonials

I offer in-person appointments at my home in Ashburton, Devon and online appointments for clients further afield or for convenience. I also offer training packages for groups of professionals who use their voice for work.

The content of the therapy is based on your individual need. I will discuss this during your initial consultation and during your first appointment.

My approach is patient-centred and holistic. The exercises and techniques I use draw on sound, evidence-based principles and are tailored to reflect each client's needs.

Most people need a consultation with an Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) Consultant prior to having voice therapy for a voice problem. Please discuss this with me during your initial consultation.
